Apparently I need to hope I don't ever get robbed according to gun nuts

I would probably never even have had chance to do more than reach for my gun before I became next morning's headline.

That's what these people never get into their thick skulls. The police wouldn't ask nicely who's the perp and who's the law abiding citizens. If shots are fired, every shooter would be fair game.

UNLESS the cops are held to impossibly high standards set thus to prevent them from achieving such so as to "prove" they're ALL ROTTEN. I've seen officers run out of the Navy with such tactics.
