look, before the 1950s in middle America, if you caught your wife cheating on you with another man.... you have every right to shoot them both. You don't go around sleeping with another man's wife. Vice versa... you don't go around sleeping with another woman's husband...

In those days, what a real man would do (or the father/brother of an affected wife) is get there 12-gauge and make a statement.

As far as this religion is concerned, you can do it out in the public in front of the whole community and the whole community will support you. Affected victims always get the first shot. They can use a pistol, shot gun, AK 47, ...etc. Now logistic-wise it is difficult to give fire arm to the whole community, that's why throwing stone is preferred.

These people want a tight-knitted community of real men and women where family is the first priority. Not little boys and girls sleeping with one another, cheating on one another like donkeys. This kind of culture is distant for destruction.
