Are you fucking joking? A healthy relationship does not thrive from under the threat of being stoned to death, regardless of what event. Do you think my girlfriend would like it if I proposed to her then said immediately after, "Oh by the way, if you have sex with another guy during our marriage, I and the whole town will stone you to death like barbarians"? A marriage is built on trust, not a book with ideals set in the dark ages.

And no, I personally hate the majority of Hollywood for how shallow and vacuous it is (mainly on how many of them are limousine liberals, but that is irrelevant to this conversation), and I also think Charlie Sheen is a moron. Wrong again.

The law is.... if you go cheating on your wife(husband)/kids and do it carelessly where 4 or more people witnessed the act. You'll get punished for this.

BTW, I don't know what kind of relationships you been in.... but most people want a relationship with certainty and openness. Cheating on your spouse should be the last thing to think about....... just know the consequences..... you can't be a COWERD and have the best of everything.

There are other options as far as this religion is concerned, like divorce, second marriage, ...etc.

I don't know if you ever lived in a tight-knitted community, where everyone helps everyone else, where kids grow in the presence of other kids, family party's on a monthly basis. Its different than the stubborn, very competitive environment of a large city like New York.

I think this is where the differences are staggering.

The goal of this religion is to protect individuals, their homes, businesses, community and environment. This religion demands discipline so people behave honestly with one another like real men and women.

If those committing live adultery (again in front of 4 people which is realistically is so rare that it doesn't even happen in a porn studio) go unpunished, the victims will start questioning this religion. How can this religion and the community be so cruel to let their coward parent go free...etc.

You see people will start questioning the purpose of marriage, start questioning the purpose of family...etc. if committing adultery is unpublishable.

You see this religion wants everyone living in a healthy close-bonded family, no one be left out. If there is no marriage/family you'll have a select few who will have partners and the rest are Involuntary Celibates (Incels). Incels are a huge danger to society and in our modern world, although not discussed in the media there is a huge problem in China, Europe and even in USA.

You can't have a community where all the men are unmarried and can only pay to make love to woman. This is what's happening in China, and in large cities in the West. This shallow lifestyle is a danger to the human species.

Short benefits does not outweigh long term benefits.
