This is the thing, adultery is not a good thing and no one here says that it is, even me.
But the victims of the stonings that I have posted weren't all adulterers, one was a young girl that had been gang raped, when she reported she was stoned for adultery.
And even for the ones that were adulterers, you think that the only punishment is stoning?
This serves the interests of no-one, exept the bitter twisted old men who imposed the sentence and probably wank off on little boys later whilst fantasizing about what they caused.
Hi Zen, I think there is a misunderstanding, it seems like this punishment is the one thing that turns you off from this religion....
- When it comes to those stonings, you are right, some of them do not deserve it. They had the wrong sentence. RAPE VICTIMS are NOT TO BE STONED as far as this religion is concerned.
- Now stoning sentence is suppose to be very rare, it is there to deter people from cheating on their spouses behind their back. It is there so people don't question this religion and the family institution.
- Now if you did commit adultery, it is encouraged to not report it to your spouse. This religion allows you to lie to your spouse to keep the marriage from breaking apart.
Again, it is okay to lie to your spouse in regards to adultery, but don't do it again and pray for forgiveness. If it was just a moral slip, it is okay just don't go out and tell people and certainly don't go out and boast about it.
Now say hypothetically speaking, 4 people witnessed you commited that act; it is strongly encouraged that those 4 witnesses to not come forth and reveal this moral slip. The only time it will happen is if the sex occurred live in front of the public and those people committing act have no remorse or feelings whatsoever towards their spouse/family.
- The authorities who give out these punishments are not the type that get off on power trips. They don't want to hear about it.
If you want to reveal it, you have to go to the authority and tell them 4 times that you committed the act. They will then ask for 4 witnesses and your lover. They will question those as well and IF THEY ALL confirm. A DNA test is conducted to verify, then they will conduct the sentencing.
If you are put on the trial, you can say you have mental issues and you can be freed. There are a lot of opportunities to get out of such a sentence.
--- Now what are some alternatives to adultry?
As I mentioned you could of divorced.
Or you can have a second marriage... what do I mean by that?
In your situation it is obvious that you love KichigaiNeko, and the same time you still have some sort of love for your ex, and if you have children, you clearly love them. You wouldn't want to divorce but at the same time you are forced to share your love towards one spouse.
As far as this religion is concerned, you can keep being married to your ex-wife and at the same time marry KichigaiNeko. The reason is, your ex-family doesn't have to suffer financially and your ex-spouse doesn't have to go out and work and try to find another mate to support her and your kids. At the same time it ensures the relationship with KichigaiNeko is not a fling, ie. one time thing where you enjoy her presences up to a point and then leave her.
This religion wants people to be together, not separate and not make hard choices in life. It wants people to be happy and not be cheated by one another. Marry two different women is permissible in this religion.
