I don't see the problem with that, if that's were we belong.  Accountability is a thing.  I thought we were talking about redemption, seems like were just talking about avoiding punishment.

The problem with most modern people no matter what they believe, first and foremost everyone thinks he is a 'good guy.'

So?  Are you going to tell modern people how they should all feel about themselves, from your lofty perch in the superstitions of the distant past?  Have fun.

If everyone thinks he is a 'good guy' and if we all have diametrically opposed world views, then someone is wrong about being a 'good guy.'

Or is it your belief that the Orlando shooter and his victims should both be held up as heroes?

Know, that they literally both are being held up as heroes. it just depends on what part of the world your in.
