Like I said, the parents are responsible for protecting their child. They made a terrible mistake and they have to live with the consequences.
The park is also responsible for their guests and they should put up a sign or *gasp* a fucking fence. It seemed like they were having some sort of outdoor movie event. You know who is faster on land humans or alligators?
I agree that regardless of who is laying blame on who, a fence and/or a more obvious sign is the right thing to do going forward.
