One more reason you can't be taken seriously: You ignore facts.
Ok, which is why out of all the first word nations who we call our allies we are leaders in the least amount of gun deaths, NOT! Gotcha, make you a deal, when we get to Japan's gun death's stats then I will shut up. But as it stands now, we are still on average tops of the gun death category for 1rst world nations. Way to settle for less.
Well, first of all I'm not settling for less; that's a concoction of your febrile mind. Secondly, I'd wager that our population has something to do with it too.
Since you clearly missed my point, I'll make it clear for you. If gun availability were the biggest predictor of gun deaths, we should expect to see gun deaths climb in proportion to gun availability. The fact that we don't tells me that there are other factors at play here.

Uh, I wasn't making excuses. I was pointing out a raw fact. In science, when a hypothesis cannot account for observed facts, it is discarded. Now we'll get to see exactly how rational you are on this matter.
My prediction -- not bloody likely. You will ignore any and all other causes as you pursue you pet bugbear. Great, have at it.
But fer Chrissakes, quit bellyaching when someone presents actual facts. Quit imputing views to them colored by the filter of your own limitations. Listen to what they are saying, especially when they disagree with you.
And -- please link to the post of mine where I said a declining murder rate makes murder okay. Or, on the other hand, redact your bullshit assertion.
