I'm guessing this miracle diet is:
More vegetables and fruit
Reduced meat (especially red meat) consumption
Reduced dairy (aside from eggs) consumption
Better portion control overall
Increased exercise
Of course, most people know that if you have Type 2 Diabetes, you may be able to reverse the symptoms by engaging in such healthy lifestyle changes (http://www.webmd.com/diabetes/type-2-dia...2-diabetes). But, even then, there's no guarantee it'll work, it requires constant discipline, it may not stay reversed even with that constant discipline, and it's not actually a cure, just symptom mitigation.
But, that's not as awesome and magical as literal bible-based snake oil.
And, of course, for people like me with late onset Type 1 (thanks, genetics), we're kinda fucked.
