Which I'm pretty sure is a sarcastic comment about black people are usually the victims of police shootings rather than white people. That's ok when you make comments about police officers shooting black people without thinking about the reasons behind the shootings and stating it in a manner which I think impugns the entire group of police officers. But when I show statistics of black people shooting police officers, not sarcastic comments but actual statistics, then we all need to think more carefully about it, we need to understand why black people do it and have an understanding that it isn't all black people just a miniscule few. I'm not saying I disagree, I do agree, but let's think about the reasons on both sides and not just fall for the usual narratives. I'm showing these statistics not to impugn a whole group but to show a contrast and some resistance to the usual race baiting, the sarcastic comments, the meaningless articles about some white people who weren't killed by the police.(July 9, 2016 at 4:26 am)paulpablo Wrote: Which means 13.5 percent of the population is responsible for 40 percent of the cop killings.

This means that roughly 232 offenders were black, and that roughly .000005% of that demographic were responsible for 43% of those police fatalities.
I know what you're trying to say -- blacks are disproportionately represented in these statistics -- but stating it in such a manner impugns the entire group for the actions of a miniscule few. And that's not even addressing the causes for such discrepancy, which is probably better ascribed to the sociology of being black: less access to good schools, jobs, and housing leading to more criminal behavior.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
