And i think that is proof that psychologically people have a belonging in God which comforts them, if lets say a religious people become atheist they may have no one to turn to because atheism has a isolated way of reaching out and is much more individualistic. So that may be the reason why atheists commit more suicides than religious people.
Well . . . DUH. Atheists don't believe hell exists. Or heaven either. Xtians think that their gawd is going to fry them if they take their life in order to end their miserable existence. Hopping from the frying pan into the fire, quite literally. Atheists think that the light is going to go out, the pain will stop, and everything will stop, which can get pretty appealing when life is not going well. Personally, no matter what side we're on, advocating for more efficient and more available mental health care would seem much more humane than just crowing that "you atheist idiots commit suicide because you don't have the comfort of my imaginary friend, neener neener neener".
