Communists are actually very pro-gun, despite right-winger claims. Mao Zedong himself said that change comes through the barrel of the gun. Of course, this isn't about communism but common sense gun legislation. The United States is the largest arms dealer in the world and has more gun deaths combined than deaths in all of the wars it's fought.
We need some common sense reforms, that much is obvious.
Doesn't surprise me, that is also the same myth gun nutters had about Hitler taking away all weapons, that is simply flat out bullshit. He did, but not for party loyalists or nationalists, to his loyalist he expanded gun rights, and only took them away from "the wrong people", meaning Jews and political dissenters.
And the irony also is that OUR ALLIES after WW1 put heave weapons restrictions on Germany after WW1 and that is what Hitler undid.
I am sick of the fucking bullshit that is is tyranny that insuring the mentally ill or domestic abusers or violent people should not own them, and that you merely want big clips and big riffles, but don't need them, that somehow these gun nuts think we want to become Hitler or Stalin, and that is simply flat out bullshit. Even Gabbi Giffords who was SHOT herself, still owns guns. What the left wants is simply some PRAGMATISM.
