And what does Pluto not orbiting Earth have to do with anything? None of the planets orbit Earth.
Don't they though, in a very vague sense and a big enough timescale?
If by orbiting earth you mean the thing periodically makes complete, but not necessarily remotely conical sectional shaped, circuit around the earth, as assessed in some geocentric, non-rotating, non-inertial, coordinate system, then the sun and all planets, and pluto, and the entire Milky Way for that matter, do in fact orbit the earth.
But otherwise, no.
