Detail for us all what your relationship with Jesus is like, and what makes you know that you are in such a relationship? Be as specific as can be. Avoid vagueness. Thank you.
Here is the simple Sunday school 2nd grade answer:
We do not get to call out self 'Saved or Christian' (capitol C) Nothing we can say or do buys us this right. Only Christ determines who is and is not Christian/Saved.
Also note in the bible the word 'saved' always point to a future event/judgement. In other words you will be save from God's wrath. Not saved meaning you have been already saved from God's wrath... Last I check God has not poured out his wrath on this planet since the flood.
This means those who are christian (little 'c') for a while and turn from God, are so by name and religious affiliation only. Despite how fervently they were a 'little c'
. the fact that they turned from God at any point does not mean they can't come back or that they are or will not come back later to be saved (per the prodigal son) it just means that they like everyone else can only claim a religious affiliation and salvation is a work of Christ and not some effort they/you may put in. But if you have gone, and turn your back on God their is little hope you will ever be saved/Christian.
