I'm suspecting that it's because I had some porn uploaded onto my google drive account. Don't worry, it was all legal! Like stuff downloaded from pornhub. Like Dylan Ryder, and some other really hot goth chick. lol But anyways, I'm just worried; is that illegal?
For sure it's illegal: it's copyrighted content, and you are storing/distributing it for free.
But I doubt that's why your account got suspended. They probably have terms of use which forbid pornographic material.
But this all does beg the question--- why would you download something from a porn portal? What's wrong with just keeping a link?
This right here is the answer of the thread. Yep it most definitely violates federal law to download and store copyrighted content without license. But it is highly likely Google couldn't care less about that and was far more concerned with the fact that the content you illegally downloaded and stored on their server was pornographic in nature and therefore violated their terms of service.
Which is a very stuffy and long-winded way of saying the G-men will not be coming to pay you a visit however, it will from this day on be forever immortalized that lots of strangers on the internet now know what a naughty boy you were this summer.
And yeah, why the fuck would you download and store a streaming porn vid? Are you saying there are moments in your life today when you do not have instant and immediate access to 1000x more completely free porn of every imaginable genre than anyone who was alive in 1982 could have possibly imagined? In a word, WTF dude?
