I'm gathering that they are not exactly fanatics about religion, either? I imagine to their minds that, at age 12, they are going to treat you as if you are going through a phase or entering some sort of adolescent rebellion. Try not to fixate on religion or your rejection of it. You have far more important things to experience at your age than silly old fairy tales.
Just be yourself and if you need to speak about religion do it here.
