Giving money to a candidate make the candidate beholden to you, in American politics, not the other way 'round.Time Warner has invested lots of money in Hilary Clinton. Hilary is a great product big business can buy right? If she loses, all of their money will got to waste. They give money to a candidate in the hopes of getting legislation that favours them, do they not? I'm sure they would love Hilary to fight for certain policies which will make them richer.
