Trump Speaks Like Regular Folk

But notice that Trump never says anything substantive ever.  It is just bragging and pissing contest.  "So and so is a bad thing."  "I'm the best."  Nothing more.

Look, I don't totally disagree. I saw him on O'Reilly once and he's not very good at explaining much of anything.

But if someone can't explain anything, what makes you believe he understands anything? Aren't you putting all your faith in his capacity to choose the right experts to understand and respond? Do you really think his cut throat approach to business is desirable (if it is even at all applicable)? How is this bumpkin the appropriate person to do the deciding for a nation? Trump never!

I don't know about you but I took the time to read the policies on his website. Yeah right, I said, Mexico will pay for the wall. How's that going to happen? From what I read,  it at least seemes we might have actual leverage to make that the starting point for a negotiation to solve our immigration problems in partnership with Mexico. Maybe. It's different and worth thinking about. But you wouldn't know that from listening to him talk.

These must be the positions his appointed experts have advised him to take .. at least during the campaign. Do any of them reflect Trump's values? Does he, in your opinion, have good/laudable values?

Trump defies all the typical ways of understanding a politician. He uses hyperbole for affect.

And I don't respect that. Neither do I trust someone like that with the position of the president.

He is after all a negotiator and starts with the outrageous request knowing full well that the final deal will not have everything he wants in it, but more than he'd have gotten if he started with a realistic request. It's a challenge to take him on his own terms.

And I hope turning down Trump is a challenge you will rise to before it is too late.
