You never met Sam. Or Shell. One of them spent hours sorting out the best pair of shoes to wear for going out and buying shoes. And I'm not exaggerating.

I used to tease Raylene about her shoes ... the floor in her walk-in closet was covered in them, so I'd say she had "three feet" of shoes. It didn't hurt that she is half-Filipina, I could throw in the Imelda Marcos angle too.
