He doesn't have direct control, but he's got some power as far as the general climate is concerned. If the economy is optimistic, more jobs will be created. And no, I don't mean trickle down. I mean optimistic as in hoping for future revenue that encourages job creation.

Go figure how Dump with his bragging about being the master of debt would fit in.
