It's not that we hate your god, or the idea of being judged for evil deeds. It's that, despite the "signs", there is no concrete evidence of any particular deity. The morals of the holy books are largely outdated. Why is it that, at best, the moral code of this god is only slightly better than the contemporary morals of the culture the books were written in?
Though I suppose if we found out he was real, we would have some good reasons to view him as evil. That's just not the #1 reason for many people's disbelief.
