That's only because the conflict didn't fall on Trafalgar day.
BTW, the French did tell the argentines how to modify the Exocets they already have to beat British electronic countermeasure, to this revelation a certain British minister responded by saying of the French "they have always been a treacherous race". The french were probably thinking of Mers-El-kebir.
