If I awoke tomorrow and the world was atheist, well that might be what xtians would call a miracle.
I would answer " no " to your question, on the basis that I don't think faith is the biggest issue facing humankind.
If I awoke tomorrow and found that all the world had the necessities of living a decent life and that the mega rich were no longer mega rich and the third world didn't exist, then whatever regime was in power I would say that things had improved.

A man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?
