I have no opinion on whether or not the trains should be publicly or privately owned but this is CLEARLY some bullshit move on Corbyn's behalf.
He was sitting down withing 35 minutes of the journey, he could have sat down not next to his wife if he wanted to before that. It's just cry baby bullshit.
That being said I don't have any stake in the argument of the state trains are in now, it's been a few years since I've been a regular train traveler.

It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to.
