It's the usual liberal tactic of silencing people, talk about this statistic and you're not just talking about a statistic, you're saying black people are inherently savages. Quietly saying it, which means you're not saying it but I want to silence you so I'll accuse you of saying it.

I'm not going to get on anyone's side here, but I think he just meant to ask what your position on it was. He wasn't making an exact statement about it.
