So far, I haven't heard any compelling argument why Kaepernick shouldn't sit down if he chooses. It's just spittle-flecked tirades with "He's just a punk and he should leave the country if he doesn't like it here!!" Not a convincing argument for telling him to stand up.
What's interesting is that he's doubling down on his protests now. He's wrecked his pro football career but I suppose there are bigger things at stake here.
