True. I didn't even notice that this was six months ago.

As for the enthusiasm level, I think it's basically a matter of psychology. I think that the Clinton supporters are not as enthusiastic (or "motivated" to use a different word) as compared to the Trump supporters because she herself doesn't appear very enthusiastic, IMO. People can see this in her body language and the way she speaks. She often looks tired and not enthusiastic enough. These things both consciously and subconsciously affect other people's opinion of her as well as their enthusiasm level. Recently, even Joe Biden expressed that Clinton should start speaking with "some passion" in order to fix her trust issues.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, appears extremely enthusiastic. He communicates with passion, high energy, and seems to have a powerful desire to win. This impacts his own supporters by similarly increasing their own enthusiasm as well.
