I really have no idea what anyone can see in olives... they're absolutely rank. Yuck. I try it and think 'ah, this isn't so bad' until I bite through the skin into the squishy bit inside, and then it hits me and I can't get the taste out of my mouth for hours... the taste equivalent of pungent. Yuck. Oh I said that already 

The squishy bit inside? Are you eating ripe or green olives? Because the green olives are usually filled with pimento (if you're lucky) or some unidentified paste that is said to be pimento. Is that what you're referring to?

Either way, I'll gladly take them off your hands.

I think it was green... not sure... been a few months since I had one - to try. Maybe not squishy...but a juicy semi-solid kind of texture. But a very very strong taste, pretty much sure is in the liquid. Kind of what I'd imagine motor oil to taste like
