Max Mannheimer died at the age of 96 at a Munich hospital. Given his lifestory, his is a legacy of trying to make people understand what happened during the Nazi regime. He toured schools, always factual and never bitter. Given the same circumstances, I don't know if I had the strength to do what he did.
