One of the last Holocaust survivors dead

Max Mannheimer died at the age of 96 at a Munich hospital. Given his lifestory, his is a legacy of trying to make people understand what happened during the Nazi regime. He toured schools, always factual and never bitter. Given the same circumstances, I don't know if I had the strength to do what he did.

Mr. Mannheimer, who lost nearly his entire family to the Nazis, had dedicated his life to the remembrance of the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust.
