Humans need to learn more to treat individuals as such

That's the crucial part. It was ingrained in me since I was a child. Always look at the person and not where they're coming from.

I grew up in a family of Holocaust survivors, by the way.

I cant even begin to fathom what that must have been like in person. You hear more of those stories having had family members. They are for humanity living history and worthy of listening to.
