Because, first it doesn't make sense. And second, because your analogy has nothing to do with anything.

Every single entity does have a different consciousness for the simple reason that they are in a different stage of devolution or evolution.
To include one factor or entity into an other and pretend that there is no difference is absurd.
Once the milk is turned into cheese the milk can not be called milk anymore.
The degree of feeling is not the same anymore.
The vibrations that are present in one element are different from an other element.
Physical science hasn't got it yet so I would be very careful to stick with a guess.
