Donald Trump manages to be more sensible on Syria than Hilary

That certainly isn't intended to be a Trump endorsement. But he's less likely to go full chest pounding gorilla on Russia. But that's about the only thing speaking in his favor as far as foreign policy is concerned.

Well, considering Trumps policy vis a vis Russia is to roll over and beg for a belly rubbing, I honestly think he's just going down the same misguided route the EU has followed regarding the country over the last eight years.

You've got to remember that Russia, despite all of Putin's homoerotic tough guy looks and prioritisation of the military, is very much a paper tiger. Unlike the USSR the country really doesn't have a military that can sustain a campaign any more against properly committed opposition.
