I'd like to notify you that I read stories worse than your.
I live in France. I knew many Muslims. I knew some murtadîn (Arabic : مرتدين).
For those who doesn't know the meaning of this Arabic therm : Apostates , Deserters , Renegades , Turncoats etc...
I know it is really difficult to be in this situation.
I'd like to tell you a story :
It was in 2012 or 2013 (I was 18-19 years old).
I was in vocational school.
It was during break time and a man said to us (Non-Muslim Europeans) something like that : "Le coran est un livre qui a était écrit par des gens".
French to English : "Quran is a book wrote by people".
I felt this person needed to speak because he was unable to do it with his peers.
We listened him.
I'll certainly remember this moment until my death.
Another day someone who live in the same neighbourhood (A neighbourhood with about 80% of Muslim population) than him who is publically a Sunni Muslim (I said publically Muslim because I'm not him. I can't know for sure if he is a Muslim or not) declared than this man he's not a Muslim when we were in the classroom.
Happily it does seem nobody did really cared what he said.
The man who made this declaration passed many time to watch pornographic content with his phone when we were in classrooms (In my country it is legal).
This man called me many time to show me porn videos when we were in the classroom.
He was really obsessed about sex compared to me.
In my vocational school the majority of students were Sunni Muslims (The Ethnic Maghrebi [Maghrebi isn't really an ethnic group but I want to simplify] were Maliki Sunni Muslim for the majority of them and people with African background were Sufis for the majority of them).
I remember Muslims were people who spoked more openly about sex.
Sex was a thing for which they were really frustrated.
