I have also fasted quite a number of times from 3-7 days at a time so I do speak from personal experience. Not that it count's for anything in your accounting but I haven't just "read one or two article on the subject". It's also a part of many spiritual traditions. Not that it counts for anything in your accounting.
I know exactly what I would do dietarily If I was diagnosed with cancer. And I would at least try that first before being pump up with poisons and shot through with radiation to the destruction of my immune system, and risking secondary harder to treat cancers. http://www.cancer.org/acs/groups/cid/doc...43-pdf.pdf
