You're almost at the point of making a well-reasoned argument here. I disagree with the slippery slope from victimhood to violations of the Constitution, but I do very much agree that even rapists are to be considered innocent *by law* until proven guilty in a court of law. That said, being found innocent in court or not being tried is not the same thing as being innocent. I'll not go through that piece by piece, though. I don't want to distract from you sourcing your definition of rape.
