@PETE_ROSE Hi PETE, thanks for the welcome brother. But can i just say your response is almost the same as to what more traditional Christians say: you know the ones we all hate. Just Kidding, Good folks. What they will say is I'm not a true Christian and say I created my own religion or i add and subtract from the Bible.
It seems I can't find any middle ground between my fellow believers in faith and disbelievers. Christians are convinced I'm not a Christian and so do Atheists. I love Atheism it's so simple, except it's not actually. There are Christian Atheists like Richard Dawkins who are culturally Christian and when asked what they are on forums or surveys; they will tick the Christian box. I thought I was a Atheist for a while until I figured out i was a repressed seeker or actually a doubting Agnostic.
A Atheist is someone who Doesn't believe in Gods everyone else believes in, but he himself will believe in a god sometimes which might be better labeled as Agnostic Atheist. Probably a Skeptic is a better word like doubting Thomas from the Bible. I myself am a Theist, that is, I positively believe in a God from reason and scrutiny of the physical universe and of the interior mind (personal experience). There are Deists who believe in God but it's hard to believe in a God that is not personal. Because we humans are personal and we're created in Gods Image so our experience reflects our own nature. I want to you to know that as I'm talking to you about what some might call jargon; no where in the text or motive am i trying to convert you. Let's make that clear. I believe you can be a moral person without religion so your intention, beauty, and heart are never questioned by me.
Then there are Anti-Theists which I'm sure you heard of or seen on the this site. Atheism is actually a Greek word and was used to denote Gods in a society but other definitions in the society was not rejected per say but debated by philosophers and the intellectual elite. There are people who are spiritual who understand the definitions of God but do not participate in any religion but choose their own path. I'm not choosing my own path, my framework is Christian because I believe Jesus is Lord. And that's really my definition of a Christian.
