Worst case scenario, the death of most life on the planet and it having to re-emerge from simple bacteria.
If both Pence and Trump die they currently get Ryan, the speaker of the House, then they get the president pro tem(of the senate) and then the whole cabinet appointed by the (previous) President(s) of the term.
So they're kind of screwed for at least two years no matter what.
