He's absolutely right, the terrorists have won. Not just here, globally. The harder we push back, in the manner we've decided to push back, the more closely our ideologies and situations approximate those wished for all along by same said terrorists. The global right fans the flames and eradicates the western ideal with it's every utterance, while the global left silences any dissent or criticism of the instigators and drains our resolve to resist. Together, they ensure that half measures and non-solutions are the only things on the table. It's a hell of a cost effective way to wage total war. A global asymmetric insurgency.
