Not so fast, Drich! The image of the rainbow is caused by refraction. What else does refraction cause us to see? That's right . . . partially submerge a straight stick in water and it no longer appears straight! Add to that Joseph's coat of many (rainbow?) colors. The pattern is undeniable. Not only physics but ancient peacock fashion is gay.
