It's good that those of you who profess Christianity are using reason as opposed to "revealed truths".  I certainly must compliment you on that.  Now, if only you could reason your way out of it...

I'm not sure what revealed truth you are referring to. The church has officially professed it's oppositionn to the dp, except for in cases where it is necessary for defense of society. Which now a days is extremely rare, if at all.

This is why Catholicism must be viewed as nothing more than a man-made religion, no different than the beliefs professed by the Aztecs and Incas; after 2,000 years, the Church cannot make-up its mind about nearly anything!  By the way, Francis will be moving the Church to a more softened position on abortion here soon; in fact, he is already moving in that direction:
