Catholic Lady,
You’re absolutely correct in that a prisoners primitive Bronze and Iron Age religious views have nothing to do with an early release. As in this case, the person in question can only “assume” that they can gain solace in going to your 1400 square mile heaven with its 60 foot walls upon their demise by accepting your serial killer god named Jesus.
Do you look forward to your heaven where the likes of child molesters, brutal killers, rapists, and others that have committed unspeakable crimes, will be awaiting your arrival because they too were saved by Jesus while in prison? Case in point, Jeffry Dahmer, who killed 17 on his serial killing spree, accepted Jesus while in prison and was baptized. Won’t it be wonderful when you get to meet Mr. Dahmer in heaven? Yes?
The irony to the inept thinking pseudo-christian upon this topic, is the fact that incredible scientists like Carl Sagan, et al, are burning in the depths of Hell because of your ever loving and forgiving Jesus put them there for being Atheists, while some of the most horrific and disgusting people known in history are lounging around your heaven as we speak because they were Christians.
"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Sickening to say the least, and you want to promote this type of insidious thinking to others in the 21st century!
