Love your parents and cherish the fact they are involved in your life. Forgive them the intrusion, as they have surely overlooked plenty of yours. Rant away! Much better to do it here than direct it at your loving parents.
Kudos to you for being in school and pursuing a higher education. It does not come easy for many of us as you stated. That will make it that much more of an accomplishment when you achieve your degree.
