I'd be surprised if anyone predicted they were on the rise when they were and I'd be surprised if anyone predicted what would eventually happen to them.
Besides the vague prediction that you can say a super power will rise and old super powers will fall, there isn't much else you could be remotely sure of.
Two things Muslims have on their side in terms of getting dominance over regions of the earth are their breeding rates conversion rates and their dedication.
What they have going against them is divisions amongst themselves and a fairly primitive belief system amongst other things.
