Oh, I get it! You're a Jew instead of a Christian, as you should be if you follow the mythical Jesus, and where you're reading from the Jewish
writings instead of the Judeo-Christian bible. I thought you were a Christian, sorry. Therefore, in this sense, you're correct. You have to
laugh at the Christian rewrite of the Jeremiah verse in question, yes? LOL
Sorry for distinguishing you as a Christian, whereas, if anyone knows the Old Testament, it is the Jews like yourself!

It is sooo funny, when a 'thinker' doesn't know when he been beaten... Let alone had his teeth kicked in..
This usally happens when a 'thinker's faith' exceeds his own ablity to think.. we see this alot with youtubers. Meaning you so just 'believe' the atheist position is always right, that you have the freedom to mock without license. You see the production, it speaks to what you want to believe so you do without checking anything, and you assume the oppsite is always wrong. Here's the thing sport. and whether it takes just this one humiliation or it takes 1000 more I am willing to teach you this lesson for free. (well sort of, as you will be made the butt of many jokes, because of you limited ablity to understand and yet still mock it rather than educate yourself.)
So, here's the thing 'thinker' The JUDEO/Jew-Christian bible contains (Sit down now I don't want you to fall and hit your head/Lord know He didn't give you much to work with so let's take care of what He did.) BOTH the Jewish and Christian Bible. Other names for this bible?? The Holy Bible or really any bible that contains both the old (That's the Jedeo part) and New (Christian part) of the bible.
So.. To study an excerpt from the Old testament and provide an exegetical (Properly framed and critical explaination of a given text) explanation frame out in the way an OT Jew would have read the passage is how anyone with a mind to context is supposed to approach OT scripture. Why? because it was written to the OT Jews and it is with in that intended audience that we only can find purposeful meaning.
So when I subdivide the OT down into it various 'books' and point out Jeremiah is NOT a Book of the Law only the Pentateuch contains the law, and your foolish response is to challenge my 'christian-ness.'

So now that we all know you can't swim what will you do next? deny this and jump back in or ask me to teach you to swim?

The religion about Jesus is Christianity, and the Christians celebrate Christmas.
Between celebrating or not celebrating, I'd postulate it would be clear to most all religiously thinking folks one choice or the other is going to be WRONG.
So what do you do ?
(might want to think this over a bit, the repercussions might be dicey)
It is really simple.
Christians have the freedom to set and observe any Holy Day (Or even foods) they want:
14 Be willing to accept those who still have doubts about what believers can do. And don’t argue with them about their different ideas. 2 Some people believe they can eat any kind of food,[a] but those who have doubts eat only vegetables. 3 Those who know they can eat any kind of food must not feel that they are better than those who eat only vegetables. And those who eat only vegetables must not decide that those who eat all foods are wrong. God has accepted them. 4 You cannot judge the servants of someone else. Their own master decides if they are doing right or wrong. And the Lord’s servants will be right, because the Lord is able to make them right.
5 Some people might believe that one day is more important than another. And others might believe that every day is the same. Everyone should be sure about their beliefs in their own mind. 6 Those who think one day is more important than other days are doing that for the Lord. And those who eat all kinds of food are doing that for the Lord. Yes, they give thanks to God for that food. And those who refuse to eat some foods do that for the Lord. They also give thanks to God.
This means some people think we must worship God on a saturday, or a sunday, on on this day or that... Paul is telling the Romans it does not matter as it is between the believer and God alone.
