Whether he was acting as a member or a moderator, he was still trolling a couple of pages back. I don't see anything being done about that. It doesn't exactly take a detective to figure out why.
Ok, so I usually don't comment on reports in the regular forum, but I'll just leave these points:
1) Our definition of trolling differs from the standard definition of trolling, precisely because everyone trolls from time to time, it's just the nature of the Internet. What we don't allow are people who troll repeatedly.
2) You don't see anything being done about that for two reasons. Firstly, because staff discussions about reports happen in a private subforum which you don't have access to, and secondly, because the post in question is a little over an hour old, the report regarding it is less than an hour old, and the staff aren't superhumans who can discuss and come to decisions on every report in an hour. Sometimes it takes days to reach a decision on a report.
3) I was about to figure out why without being a detective, so you are actually correct in regards to your last point.
