There are religious people with medical degrees of every religion you can think of, but even with the ones willing to separate their religion from a lab fail to consider that it is science that is universal, not religion. Victor Stenger's book "The New Atheism" and I agree, takes issue with the idea that you can split the baby by trying to treat them separate but equal.
Unfortunately when that is pointed out to many, it is taken as an attack on human rights, rather than a criticism on theists logic.
