Tell that to the women who have had first trimester miscarriages.
Just because we, as women, CAN love a ball of cells like a child, doesn't mean that every woman necessarily does. And, that love doesn't clinically transform a ball of cells into a child. I get where you are coming from, CL. I loved both my little balls of cells; looking at the tiny, 6 week old embryo photos online with hubby and going, "ohhhhh, our little lizard-baby is so cute!" with goo-goo eyes. But our babies were wanted and planned for. I already had that love in me to give before I even conceived, so it was very easy for me to form an emotional attachment to something that really wasn't a person yet. This isn't necessarily the case with every pregnancy, though. The amount of love you feel, or the amount of devastation those women who lose wanted pregnancies in the first trimester feel, doesn't change biology.
That being said, I personally find this woman's reasoning rather silly, to the point that I'm questioning if it's even authentic, lol.
