And for that poor woman, that WAS her child. I don't think anyone would be cruel enough to dispute that with her. That doesn't mean every single 6-week-old pregnancy means the same to other women though.

I understand how that can be emotionally traumatic. I really do. I'm not going to make jabs at miscarriages, but I'm not going to equate that to the abortion issue, either. You are choosing to have that potential child, and I won't tell you to do otherwise. That's wonderful. I just don't think everyone is ready to turn that clump of cells into a child yet, and I support their decision even when I disagree with their reasoning.
