What the fucking hell is this?

Surely someone can manage to get this guy busted from being president with all this crap he's pulling? If not, they may as well just call it a dictatorship.

If aliens don't commit any crimes they won't be on the list; it will be a blank piece of paper.  What's better than that?

Sigh the fact it's even being looked into says a lot about the nature and purpose of the study

Especially for big cities, it is my understanding that Crime statistics are public.  Even in my small town, they are in the newspaper.

Frankly, I don't expect much to come of this, other than perhaps some criminals being deported.   And I could certainly agree, that a weekly report seems like overkill.
I would think that the majority who are just here illegally, probably try to keep their heads down, and go unnoticed.

The point of the weekly report is to make it seem as though immigrants are causing a big crime problem, implying they are more likely to commit crimes than other members of the public, justifying extraordinary actions against them. The Nazis published a similar report about Jews. The point of comparing that to crimes by non-immigrants is to reveal the truth (that immigrants are no more prone to crime than the rest of us). Keeping their heads down and trying to go unnoticed is one of the reasons they don't have a high crime rate.
