You can't argue this type of topic with any of the Abrahamic religions. They have thousands of years worth of denial, circular reasoning, and indoctrination to explain away any logical argument.

Why do good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to innocent? - Queue some bullshit about god teaching some valuable lesson.

Why does god permit his creations to commit terrible atrocities of pure evil? - Queue some bullshit about free will and/or original sin.

If that is the case, why should god be praised when his creation does something good? -- Queue some bullshit about praise be to god.
