More Jackbooted Thuggery As Protests Turn Violent At NYU

'Jackbooted Thugs' is a fair description of their actions. But, these are pretty much the fringers, though. I think most on the left would condemn this. Unfortunately, I think the violence from the few fringers will reflect badly on the rest of the left.

"Jackboot thugs" is a term, that in the UK at least, I have only ever seen associated with the right. It seems odd to have it pointed at left leaning people.

Could be that theist has just let slip that the violence was caused by agents provocateur. Turned out in the UK at least that protesting would have been a lot less violent only for a group of undercover rozzers whose remit essenitally was "make anti-government and big business protestors look like they're doing illegal stuff, so as we can brand them dangerous loons". Given what the Republitraitors and the Feds have done to now, I'd be surprised if that isn't tbe case with a lot of these groups too.
